Eunni is a confident little monkey-noid Eunclaw. He lives in ancient human ruins surrounded by a jungle on the planet Ebbaad. He has been ostracized by his peers because he is so much smaller than an average Eunclaw youngster. He is considered strange by the adults for always asking ... “why”?
In a clan where friendships are the norm and gifts to each other, he sadly has been rejected. It will take something outstanding to prove himself worthy to be fully accepted into their society. It will take an adventure.

With the death of his only friend, he resolves in his young heart to find the legendary Great Magic Mijjie Tree. Eunni can’t imagine a greater gift for his clan than a Mijji Tree that never runs out of nuts.
Eunclaw lore claims the tree is located in the dangerous Dire Desert and is guarded by vicious Big Blue Cockatrice. No matter the obstacles, he is determined to bring back a seed to plant by their metal caves. Such a great gift will surely open his clan’s hearts to him and they will finally let him enter their circle of caring for each other.
He is fortunate to be joined by Matrice, a domesticated little Red Cockatrice that lives on a human’s farm. She often sits on their barn’s weather vane staring up at the stars full of questions like Eunni himself. They are like-minded that there must be more to life than looking for food. There must be answers to life out beyond his jungle and her farm. They join together in an adventure that will magnify who they are. They are willing to risk their lives to find the legendary Great Magic Mijjie Tree and to find the possible answers to their myriad of questions of what is beyond their horizon.
On the way, they find something greater than magic seeds or answers to their “whys”.
